Our sailboat
Thyra is an ideal choice for solo travelers, groups of friends, or couples seeking a private boating experience.
The sailboat has one bathroom, a private cabin with a king-size bed, two single beds and another king-size bed in the middle of the boat. The beds can be closed during the day for greater comfort inside the boat.
There are also individual spaces to store personal things, phone recharge station and four USB-charging fans.

How to get to the sailboat?
Transportation from Panama city to San Blas (our boat)
• Travel time: 5 hours approx
• Cost per person: $140 round trip + $20 entrance fee to Kuna Yala (San Blas).

Please send a photo of your passport and the name and location of the hotel/hostel/Airbnb you will stay in Panama City.
This info are needed at least 3 days before your trip.
Below is how the travelling day will look like:
• Taxi picks you up from your hotel in Panama City (usually 5-6 am)
• 2-3 hours in taxi to arrive at the harbour named “Carti”
• Kuna boat driver will find you and take you with your things aboard his boat
• 1-2 hours in the speedboat to arrive at our boat
• Arrival is around 10 am to our boat for a big
welcome breakfast!
• Transportation and entrance fee to San Blas are not included
• The trasportation payment is in cash to the kunas at the time you arrive here, or in Panama City
• Please try to bring only a light bag with the essentials 🙏

What will a typical day look like?
Each boat has a unique experience. Here’s what the “typical” day onboard looks like:
• Wake up at your leisure and jump in for a swim
• After breakfast we go to an island for a yoga session
• Relax, read and explore until midday
• Eat a nice lunch
• Pick up the anchor and sail to a new island
• Couple of hours of sailing
• Arrive in the afternoon and go snorkelling
• Enjoy the sunset while we prepare the dinner
• Eat a delicious fish dinner
• Look at the stars before heading into bed
• Sleep with the sweet rocking of the ocean.
Would we have the boat to ourselves?
Normally the boat is shared with other lovely guests. If you want the whole boat for yourself you can book it with advance. Anyway, the experience is very intimate and personalized.
The choice of beds is through who booked first the cabin or the double bed in the middle of the boat, anyway all the places are very cozy and comfortable
Can I bring my big backpack or luggage?
We ask you to keep your big backpack or luggage in the hotel where you are going to be in Panama City, since the space in the boat is of course limited. Only bring here a small bag with the necessary: light clothing, swimsuit, hat, towel, water bottle to refill on the boat, sunscreen, sunglasses, snacks, alcoholic drinks (not included – purchasable here), tip (not included). Transportation to our boat, alcoholic beverages – though here in the island you can purchase some good Balboa beer and Abuelo rhum -, extra snacks, tips
